Hello,

well, you have obviously different setup on staging and live server, so i guess there is something missing on the live one.

It can be anything from missing / old PHP libraries, through some files or processing permissions, to anything…

Take a look on debug.log, console log, try to debug it and find what’s wrong or ask some developer to help you.

Sorry, but you provided a very few information, so I have no idea, but once you will provide some error message or some specific problem, then I can help you ofc.

The fact is that I don’t have error message. The plugin is well installed because when I disable it, I’ve got a critical error due to my code (the function to display thumbnail) in my twig file. And When I reactivate the plugin, wordpress works well but, I’ve got anything (thumbnail or even the line of code).

My staging site is in the same server than my live site. He has same extensions, updates, etc… That why It’s weird. I’m still searching for a solution.

Aha, well that’s really strange then…

Make sure you have enabled error reporting for all levels and check your debug.log properly… otherwise it will require much deeper debugging

What code you use to output the image?

I’m using :

{{ function(‘get_pdf_thumbnail_image’,post.meta(‘document’).ID) }}

into a twig file.

Oh wow, sorry, but i can not help you with this one, because i have no idea what it is and how it works… I’ve never heard about “twig”

Maybe just try to use normal PHP to debug it, if it works… some wp_footer hook to output response from normal PHP function provided by this plugin?

I’ve tried to pu a short code in a page to test it. On my page : no thumbnail and no line of code. It’s as if the plugin were there, but completely transparent. I like to solve issues but that one is touchy ! 😀

OK, seems to be a bad configuration. Because I’ve pushed my “uplaods” files and DB on my staging site and now, the plugin doesn’t work.

Well, it seems that this issue is not caused by the plugin itself, so I will mark this as resolved for now and if you will find out that the problem is really caused by the code of this plugin then you can write here again of course 😉

Good luck.
