So, I’m working for a store with storefront and a wordpress + woocomerce site. They had a local company build the site, but it hasn’t been maintained, and no-one there knows how it works and are very risk-adverse when it comes to changing anything.
I want in-store and phone order sales working through the website. Currently they have to manage inventory manually for in-store sales, which no-one does. Repair orders and completed repairs are also separate. They use word documents for everything, you can imagine how time consuming and disorganized this is.
They are also manually calculating shipping for every single product. Please help, I am new to this and don’t know where to start, but there must be a better way to do things!

What about something like SquareUp [https://squareup.com/point-of-sale]) – it talks to Woocommerce. The repairs stuff can probably be done in WC.
It’ll either be them spending on a developer or many late nights for you, but, a few of these elements seem fairly straightforward to achieve.
The main thing, though, is to never touch anything with a back-up and testing first.
