Would people use this opensource project that I am willing to build?

I am thinking about creating an opensource project built upon NextJS, TailwindCSS, Typescript.

Here is the thought:

People who use wordpress to make their personal blog with (BLOGNAME.wordpress.com) but dislike it’s frontend due to those unwanted banners and copyright texts.

I was thinking if I could use wordpress REST api to and build a blog frontend for the people that would be customizable and clean with some NextJS perks.

Well, People could use themes that might look better than my nextjs UI but here you would get clean interface and better corewebvitals and speed.

Will people use this? Shall I make something like that?

Or it’s just another foolish idea that my brain cells usually produce?
