I’m guessing it started about 10-12 hours ago. The top of my website now says “q” (frontend). When try to go to backend cowfriendsoap.com/wp-admin, it’s a white screen with letter “q”
I was running a one-day sale and now I cannot take any of the sale down. I’d been watching my website like a hawk and I don’t know what changed, seemingly, all on it’s own. I did, however, see there was an automatic update for Code Snippets (from version 3.6.4 to 3.6.5). That’s the only item, but now I can’t even deactivate to see.
I was able to find a way around getting to the dashboard, but this issues is unlike any I’ve ever seen. I don’t know if I can even disable plugins—it may not allow me to enable them.
This is the error that showed up when trying to update my site Hello theme:
Update failed: q{“success” true,”data” {“update”: “theme”, “slug”:”hello-elementor”, “oldVersion”:”3.0.1″, “newVersion”.:”3.0.2″}}
When I try to update anything (theme, plugin, elementor, plugin tasks like rollback versions), it gives very similar code. I can’t go into Elementor to edit anything, not even the safe editing mode. I can’t update any plugins, or, in short, change anything on the backend. Typically there is a plugin update that has some bugs in it and I would troubleshoot by deactivating and seeing if that improves anything.
But with this issue, no way! I think if I deactivate anything, I won’t be able to reactivate!
[redundant url removed by mods]Why the sudden change? Everything was running smoothly until something happened.
Please help! I really need help. I’m use SiteGround for hosting, if that helps to know?
