wp Localhost to hosting (australia)

Hey new here I’m no developer, but I’m building wordpress sites on and off for people and I thought I’d give a local host a go, I’m looking to move it to ventra ip for hosting

I was just wondering if its simply best to use the export using the built in export then upload the zip or do i use like updraft of some other plugin to move it over to the live site and would I maintain a site that has their wp tool kit ?? ( see image )
