Hey r/Wordpress! I’m a somewhat experienced software developer, but completely new to WordPress. I own a few domains which I would like to fill with some content, so I thought WordPress is the perfect fit here.
I’m looking for a theme (one-time-payment or free) which I can use to create beautiful websites for multiple projects. I have seen that the actual UI is just a small part of the theme, the page builder and license appears to be very important.
Which themes are easy to use for beginners and can be used across multiple sites?

Salient is pretty popular and can achieve lots of different looks from it’s back-end settings. I think it comes with WPbakery builder too.
Not great in terms of learning how WP works, but it’s quick to get going…
Stick to the big ones : GeneratePress (best choice), Neve, Kadence, Blocksy…and maybe genesis. Any of those are intended to be flexible “frameworks” – which one is better is a matter of personal preference.
why not utilize wordpress multisite feature? that way you can have multiple themes
