WP + Zapier – featured image issue

Hi guys!

I have encountered a problem while setting a Zapier automation for posting in WP.

All good till I get to the featured image field. I have the images generated by dall-e and I get a link. Unfortunately, I cannot send the link to WP as it is not supported and it’s requesting a file (jpg, png, etc…). The plugins that I have found doesn’t help my issue.

Have any of you had something similar in the past? There is any elegant way I can just have the featured image embedded as a link?

  1. What you could try to do is download the image from dall-e and then upload natively to your WP platform, then reference that image URL in the content you send in via Zapier
