The best way to find out is to clone the site, describe the plugin, and see what breaks. I don’t remember how the content is stored to know exactly what will break – but you should expect some content will be lost, especially non-primary language content. WPML historically stores that data in a different way so it can be queried by the framework – not in a standard post/page content setup.
