I’ve been trying to fix the spaghetti mess of a website in the company and when it got to the stage where I was ready to upload the new site, I noticed the backup size from WPVivid to be significantly less to what I see on the FTP client. I have never seen such a messy FTP on any website I’ve worked with. There’s 100s of files in and around the Htdocs folder, things I’d normally only to expect to see in a WP-Content folder.
I am begrudgingly downloading it all before using WPVivid to restore a now updated site, just incase it has something important, but I don’t understand why is there such a difference in files? There is definitely not 50GB worth of media on the site.
