Hey guys!
I cannot login into my local wordpress site. Its under construction. I’m using Xampp as local host. I tried every tutorial possible from online and nothing is working. When I try to login it gives me ‘this site cannot be reached’. At the bottom it says ‘local host refuse to connect’. I’ve even tried different browsers and they all give me the same thing. Has anyone had any issues with Xampp? Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Check on Xampp Control Panel which port(s) are assigned to Apache Service.
Then go to your URL address bar in your browser and specify that port number right after localhost
e.g. localhost:XXXX/your_site

Have you changed the port address that its connects to? If yes, you’ll need to include the new port address e.g. [http://localhost](http://localhost):{port number} e.g. 8080.
