I am working with someone on my site and there were 2 changes made yesterday – they installed 10web booster (to optimize my site speed) and published a new page with FAQs on the topic the site is on
Bear in mind the site is rather new – about 3.5 months old so we’re incrementally adding new content and pages to build it up. The traffic has been steadily growing and pretty consistent/predictable over the last few weeks.
Until today – there has been almost no traffic & I had a bot visit me with 29 views within 1 minute – saw it on the live view in Analytics.
Any idea what went wrong? Something seems very off and today is a huge outlier in the slow but steady weeks prior. Maybe it will all be ok tomorrow but better safe than sorry.
