Adding CPT + template via plugin.

Hi devs, I’m old school and from the time we did get_header().

Now I’m trying to create a new plugin with an cpt. I can add a single-cpt.html template.

But I can’t figure out how to add the header and footer from theme

Can anyone point me in right direction?
