I started a food blog as a hobby (not meant to be monetized, at least not yet) and splurged on a theme allegedly optimized for food blog content. I hired a WP expert to import the theme, but now that it’s there, I find it totally unintuitive and impossible to use, even after watching tutorials. Amon other issues, there are a ton of extraneous blocks and random text scattered throughout the site. I am now ISO recommendations for a theme (paid or unpaid) that is genuinely easy to use, even for people with no experience in web design. Any input is appreciated!

By food blog do you mean you need the typical recipes and ingredient lists etc?
