Hey everyone, as the title stated, I’m asking if draft pages are useful for Google. I’m managing a website where every article that had to be removed from the website (it simply was not useful anymore), was instead made a draft, so this website is full of drafts. I asked why was that, and they told me it was for “Google index”. I think that they should just be removed entirely, what do you think? Thanks!
Google crawlers can’t visit draft pages. If it’s a draft page and it is still in your site map, then it’s going to show as a 404 to Google.
