Since I believe this community is versatile enough and mature enough to not just spew “Elementor is sh\*t” propaganda, I’d like to hear arguments for and against Elementor usage from you.
In my opinion (I use partly Elementor and partly Gutenberg with Stackable blocks), I really don’t see a better alternative than Elementor in terms of:
* Ease of use
* Speed of website building
* Versatility of use
* Plugin Compatibility
* Add-on plugin availability
* Community help
I know that the code is bloated and they sometimes solve something using 50 lines of code that could be 5 lines, but with today’s performance optimization practices and plugins, it’s very easy to get high scores. New containers feature is also very good in terms of battling that bloat.

I get 100% and above 95 points in GT Metrix and Lighthouse for every single site I build with Kadence Pro. After going full Guttenberg from Uncode / WP Bakery I am never going back to a page builder again. I have never used Elementor. But I will never use Elementor.
I agree – I work full-time in WordPress speed optimization, and although there are obvious performance disadvantages over Gutenberg and other page builders, the positives outweigh the negatives in my opinion.
Ease of use is key – Most clients (especially beginners) are not going to be too bothered about the performance disadvantages because it’s such a small %.
I have hundreds of clients and in general… the ones who use Elementor have less basic design related problems than the clients who use alternatives.
I’m a noob and one of the plugins I use gas additional Elementor features made to work with the plugin. It’s dead simple.
