As others have indicated, the plugin has stopped working recently. I got the following error and instructions:

“error_description”: “Bad Request”
Please re-grant Google app permissions!
Go to WP Mail SMTP plugin settings page. Click the “Remove OAuth Connection” button.
Then click the “Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account” button and re-enable access.
I’ve tried to follow the steps, but I can’t re-enable access. I got the following error from Google:
Access blocked: This app’s request is invalid
Error 400: redirect_uri_mismatch
