I started a community based site using buddypress recently and buddypress by itself is obviously a bit bare bones, not super what I’m looking for. I’ve been using youzify and have been decently happy with it, it’s pretty good but I’m wondering if there’s something that could potentially be a little more lightweight and/or a little more customizable. Or, if there’s just any other plugins you’d recommend to enhance the experience to the best it can be. Currently my whole community is built with buddypress, youzify, better messages, and bbpress for forums. I chose bbpress mostly for how youzify styles it to fit in and feel the same as the rest of the social stuff, but I’d be open to other options as well. That’s mostly it outside of some other general ones for reportint and blocking users, things like that. What would you guys recommend to improve the experience for my users? Or would you say I’m overall in a good spot?
