I’m looking into building a wordpress plugin, but also am weighing building a centralized SaaS. One great thing about a centralized SaaS is that I can always get answers to basic questions like “how many users do I have *total*” – or I can implement anonymized behavior tracking to be able to identify pain points and areas for improvement etc.
What tools and techniques are available for plugin developers to accomplish this?
