[Bug Fix ?] How to force default use of Text Editor instead of Visual Editor

[ad_1]

So, you may have noticed that editing a text module ( for example ) using the Visual Editor, will erase things like line breaks
, color schemes, and so on.

I basically have to keep a Notepad file opened because every time I go and try to edit a text file, it automatically defaults to Visual Editor, and I have to retype the missing code.

This has been an issue for +5 years that I use this plugin, but there was a way to fix it, which I can’t remember because it was on some stupid Facebook group that doesn’t have searching capabilities.

Thanks for an otherwise perfectly good plugin.

Ps : About this very WordPress forum, is there a way to get rid of the “Block editor / Type / to choose a block” annoyance, and switch back to regular, “normal people” text editor ?
I find it absolutely aggravating and confusing without any upside to the end user, whatsoever.
