Since yesterday i can’t create new posts, pages or make any change to the theme. Also i can’t create new users. When i try to create a new post or page i get the message a critical error has occurred. The log file error states a “insert denied error”. I tried the following:
- disabled all plugins and used a default theme
- reïnstalled the WordPress files
- made a complete backup and reinstalled from scratch
- checked and did some testing with the htaccess file
- checked admin user rights in the database with phpadmin
- contacted hosting provider but they don’t see any problem on their side neither did they make any changes
- tried PHP 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2
- i checked the database for any kind of corruption
- i tried all suggestions from chatgpt
- i checked wp-usermeta table
- checked the admin has all rights
I spend 10 hours today but can’t find a solution. The site is live but i can’t make any changes like this. Yesterday i created a new post without issues and did not make any other changes.
