Can’t get the URLs to be indexed – checked all possible reasons – pls help!

I know this has been asked here a lot but I couldn’t find a single solution that worked for me. So here I go again:

I have a wordpress site with decent content but I can’t get google search console to index my site. It says URLs are blocked by robots.txt.

Now, my robots.txt file is pretty basic. Allows all bots, only disallows admin page. I have also added my sitemap URL there.

I have made sure that my worpress site isn’t discouraging bots from crawling the site from general sites.

I have checked my header page and I haven’t added any no follows tag there for robots.

Can anybody please point me towards the right direction and help me figure out what could be there issue here. I’m losing my head for the last three days.
