Cart automatically deletes itself

Hi everyone! So I am managing one of my client's website and since we did the recent Woocommerce update last week, some customers are now having problems with their carts. When they add products to the cart, after a few seconds, the item disappears and the cart returns back to zero. A common ground for customers experiencing this are they are using desktop and Mozilla/Explorer browsers.

For better context, I am in the Philippines and my client is in Australia. Everything is working well on my end. Laptop and mobile, all kinds of browsers. However, he is experiencing the same in his desktop/firefox. But he finds it works on chrome on his laptop and mobile.

Now, I have tried troubleshooting by checking my Woocommerce system status and also cross-checking with the plug-ins to no avail. The only thing I haven't tried is changing the shop theme as I am afraid that will change a lot of the website's design. We are using Shopix.

Has any of you guys experienced this? Would it help if I also provide here the system status report. I am a designer and only has little background with coding so I can't figure out really well what goes wrong. Thanks, hoping you guys can help as client is already frustrated with the dead ends.

  1. Have you tried using the WooCommerce tools to clear and reset all cart sessions? Not near my computer right now, but I think it’s somewhere in settings.

    Maybe also have the client clear cookies and cache on that browser.
