@rphaverbeke if the issue persist after removing ASE folder, it looks like the issue is originating from somewhere else on your installation.
First, make sure you’ve cleared the cache if you have it at the server level, or if you use Cloudflare, clear the cache there. If the issue persist, try to look for plugins in your installation that maybe modifying the login process, or applying some sort of redirection.
After a lot of trying I got it all working fine. For your information, Better WP Security is the plugin which interferes with your plugin. Now I have to make a choice which one is functionally better for my site…… 🙂
