For content creation, is wordpress copyright protection adequate or is there something I have to do to be sure? I know WordPress can’t do anything outside of WordPress but I’m talking about that what I post is mine, legally and not up for grabs.
I’m a writer, I should add. Post short stories and poetry.

The platform, WP, Drupal, Medium etc, makes no difference – if it’s published it’s copyrighted.
As a writer, I would recommend printing your content and dating the sheet with details of where you published it, chuck it into an envelope, write the date and what’s inside on the envelope and post it to yourself.
99.9% sure you’ll never need it, but, if it came to it, you could prove your ownership by the sealed and dated envelope.
