Do you think people are less likely to use a theme if it uses Gutenberg blocks instead of Elementor?

I’m thinking about creating a freeium theme, and ideally I want to have it done with Gutenberg blocks instead of elementor. I’ve used elementor for a long time but I just don’t like it. It’s adds to much bloat to the code. But I do know a lot of people do use elementor.

Do you think I would lose a lot of downloads based on this fact? Or vice Versa, do you think my sales would improve?

  1. Gutenberg is the future. We need more FSE block themes. Check out Anders Noren’s work to see what I mean. Bjork is his latest theme.
