Hey everyone!
I’ve been using WordPress for quite some time now and have always been amazed by the variety of themes available. I know how important it is to have a visually appealing website that not only looks good but also functions smoothly.
That’s why I’m excited to learn more about theme design and the marketplace. I want to know more about the creative process behind designing themes and what goes into making a theme stand out from the crowd. Additionally, I’m interested in learning about the different marketplaces where I can find amazing themes.
I would love to hear from experienced designers about their tips and tricks for creating a successful theme. What are some of the must-have features that make a theme popular? How do you come up with unique design ideas that stand out from the rest?
I’m also curious to learn more about the different marketplaces where designers can sell their themes. Which marketplaces are the most popular and why? What are the pros and cons of each marketplace?
If anyone has any resources or recommendations for where I can learn more about theme design and the marketplace, please share them! I’m excited to dive deeper into this topic and can’t wait to see what I’ll learn.

Good modern WordPress themes are not about the design, but rather about the structure. Look at some of the most successful ones: GeneratePress, Kadence, Blocksy or Astra. They are design-agnostic, you can build anything with them. Or Bricks – technically it is also a theme.
Or even look at the so-called “demos” of Themeforest themes. They can be very different from one another within the same theme. And if so, how can a theme be about the design? It might have been the case many years ago, and many newbies may see themes this way. But I don’t care about the theme’s design anymore, the structure is what counts these days.
