Forminator uninstalled itself on update to 1.24.1

I don’t recommend updating to the latest version of the Forminator plugin…. I clicked “update” to bring Forminator to the latest version (1.24.1), and got the following error:

An error occurred while updating Forminator: Could not copy file. forminator/addons/pro/trello/class-forminator-addon-trello-form-settings-exception.php

And now Forminator seems to have been uninstalled from my plugins. Trying to reinstall it gives an error, too:

Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

This is quite frustrating, and even more so if it ends up meaning that I’ve lost all of my saved forms… Is anyone else having this problem?

  1. Uninstalling/deleting a plugin doesn’t delete data.

    Delete the Forminator plugin folder and reinstall it.
