So ive been thinking of starting WordPress web development online, learnt pretty much a lot about website building on wordpress (with woo commerce) etc but i have a few (basic & dumb) questions, I’m hoping someone would be kind enough to help me figure it out:
1) where do you recommend developing a wordpress site for professional purposes (im currently not using wordpress for it since its paid, using another one to practice, its WordPress but not the actual site “local”) & what is the procedure to hand it over to the client once youre done?
2) how does domain stuff work, i am on the verge of buying one on namescheap but how do i transfer it once im done creating it for the client? Is it worth it? Are there other options? I tried checking with a few freelancers and most said they don’t provide domain themselves but can transfer the website to the domain provided by the client. How does that work????
Pleaseeeeee help me understand these concepts, im genuinely struggling right now & could really use some help. Thank you.

1. For client staging sites, i just have a subdomain where I create it on then once sites ready i migrate it over to their hosting
2. I’d suggest getting your client to deal with domains cos of how important it is. let the buy it and share access with you if possible to add dns records for them or just let them know the records to add
