How to Change Title for Parameterized Blog Pagination Pages

[ad_1]

The blog paginated pages are parameterized, like below.

To help with indexing, I'd like to give each paginated page a unique Title, e.g. "Blog Page 2", "Blog Page 3", etc.

Is there a way I can do this? Currently editing the title on the paginated pages changes the title of the blog homepage.

/blog/?_paged=2

/blog/?_paged=3

  1. SEO plugins can usually do this. Are you using one? They have variables to use it title tag template for this exact scenario.

That said, in practice it would have little effect on indexing. use good pagination and canonicals as well as link rel “next” and “previous” tags. Generally you don’t want your paginated pages indexed – you want them crawled and the posts indexed, Although a good SEO plugin also does the above automatically as well as the title tag variables
