I was thinking of implementing the BBpress forums, only to see that they have 210 addons.

My question is, for someone that is familiar with WordPress but not BBpress, how long will it take to come up to speed ?
I mean just browsing the 210 addons is a Herculean task that should take me days to review and determine if there is a need for some of them ?
