As a developer and founder, I've observed that many people remain focused on traditional services like website and app development. However, with the rise of AI and no-code platforms, the landscape of the development industry has shifted dramatically. When I ventured into automation work, many advised me to stick to development, but I believed in the potential of automation to transform lives. While working on a client's project to fully automate Photoshop, I realized how these innovations could turn hours of work into mere seconds with just a few modules. Innovation is not just important—it's essential in keeping up with the evolving demands of our industry. What's your take?

Automation has been around for ages. It’s only now become a buzzword. Photoshop has had actions since the early 2000s. AppleScript has been around for ages.
In my opinion the quality of generative AI content is completely unacceptable. It still takes a human to determine what is acceptable output. The AI can’t replicate that.
AI code assistants and writing assistants can be helpful and can reduce the time to create something. But their usefulness is just somewhat better than a really good search engine that randomly inserts factual errors. Their skill at syntax however is impeccable, and is very helpful for learning a new language.
But in the end you don’t need AI in order to make something automated. Any tool which can be trained or instructed on how to do a task can give you automation. Deterministic automation is far more reliable because it does exactly as you instruct.
