A lot of my clients were using jetpack just for stats. Now jetpack wants them to pay 9.9$ every month which is too much for a lot of my clients. So, i am looking for an alternative.

[Matomo](https://matomo.org) is FOSS with an independent site for all sorts of site stats (a la Google Analytics) with a nice WordPress plugin available to show top stats on the Admin Dashboard.

Has a free version and the pro has an LTD
