Javascript disabled

[ad_1]

Hello, I’m new to WordPress and have no knowledge of coding. I’m currently working on a website. I have installed a copy content protection plugin and it works great. But there is a loophole I have found in it. If I open the webpage and then disable javascript and then reload, the plugin blocks the content and displays “javascript is disabled. Please enable”. All is good but now if I press “ctrl+U”, it opens the source code and all my content is available there. So if the javascript is disabled, the plugin can’t help protecting my website content. Is there any method to avoid this? Like if javascript is disabled, then it automatically redirects to another page or deleted the source code or something else.

  1. There is absolutely nothing you can do about that; it is just how browsers work.

Also, here is another work around for you… F12 to open the browser’s developer tools, then disable your content blocking script from loading, then refresh the page and browse as usual.

  2. There is no way to block dev tools. Its just how web works. Browsers have to receive html to render it to the user. And there is no way of forbidding someone to see what they already got from the server. Why do you want to do it ? Maybe there are other options more suitable to your use case.

  3. This is just the way it works, if I can see it in a browser I can take it. At this point my computer already has your content.

You can make it more difficult, like you are, but there is always going to be a workaround for a determined person. It’s also worth mentioning that anything that modifies a users expected interaction with the browser is probably not a good idea.
