I was able to get the search bar I wanted using the regular search but it queries the wrong thing – there is a filter search block that does the job with my kadence theme however the issue with it is that there aren't much visual customization options – specifically to make it wider. I made it wider with custom css in the additional css tab in customize but that doesn't make it dynamic to tablets and phones even with more custom css to account for that. I am wondering if there is away to customize and make dynamic the search bar.
Maybe contact the theme devs?
I use Blocksy and sometimes they update which causes issues. I report back to them they usually respond in a day or two.
