I’ve been asked to sort out a wordpress website which on occasion is redirecting to a porn website. It has wordfence installed and I have ran Malcure none of which find anything. I have checked wp-config, header.php, footer.php, index.php and lots of others and can’t see anything. The website did have WP File Manager installed as a plugin which I have removed.

I’m not really sure what else to do. I’ve checked to see files that may have been updated datewise when not expected but this website got taken down by the previous host for DDOS attacks (it’s what I was told) in September. Against my advise it is now hosted on GoDaddy (and I didn’t install it on there so assume it likely wasn’t ever cleaned properly).

Any advise at the moment would be helpful. It’s storing something somewhere as once it’s opened porn once it won’t for awhile and it won’t if logged in.
