Need forums plugin & help with Master Study LMS

1st issue: I need help finding a forums plugin for WordPress. I'm running the Twenty Twenty Four theme, and apparently that doesn't work with BBpress or the two other forum plugins I found??? It just shows a blank page.

2nd issue: I'm running Master Study LMS plugin which so far has been amazing. However, ive run into an issue where the header and footer from my theme is replaced on only certain pages within the plugin (course page, and certain dashboard pages). What is the easiest way to override this to use my theme header and footer? I don't like their included 'starter' theme that comes with Master Study.
