I use Elementor to build my website but i can no longer edit with it.
I have contacted Elementor and they said this.
*”Once when I switch the theme to Twenty Twenty-two, the custom post type “Blog” disappeared and I tested the default “Post” type. Blog custom post type is coming from the theme you are currently using.*
*As you may see in the following loom everything is working properly with the Post type.”*
So I think I need to change my theme in order to be able to edit and this seems to create two problems:
First, Changing to any other theme removes the custom post type ‘blog’.
All of my posts are under this blog type.
so e.g.
mywebsite.com/blog
mywebsite.com/blog/a-post
I have set up a staging website and whatever theme i change to all posts then become 404s and i can’t see any posts in /wp-admin
[mywebsite.com/blog]) \— 404[mywebsite.com/blog/a-post]) \— 404
I’m not sure how to get around this.
1. I want to keep the /blog/post structure if possible for SEO purposes
2. I don’t know where all of my posts go and how to stop them disappearing

The other problem I’m facing is that changing to any other theme breaks the whole styling of the website so i kind of have to build the whole thing again, but i don’t know if there is any avoiding that?

Thanks for any help!
