Hi, are you using Gutenberg editor?
Could you share a screenshot or video with your issue?
Hi @mikehende
Can you please let us know which text you’d like to modify?
If you need to change the color inside the post/page content, you can review this helpful article: (it explains how you can change the color using the block editor or the classic editor — the approach depends on which editor your WordPress site uses).
If you need to change the color of text outside the content editor, it will probably require adding specific CSS code for the particular text.
Hey guys, no it’s not gutenburg should be classic editor.
I looked at that tutorial which seems to color only the entire block of text.
This is a screenshot, if I wanted to color only the first 3 words as an example “According to research”, can this be done please?
As you can see, no color option for selected snippets of text without maybe CSS.
Hi @mikehende,
You’ll need first to highlight the specific text inside the paragraph. You can do that using the Highlight option:
After that, you’ll be able to set a custom color only for that selected text:
Ohhh, so that was the trick, yes, I see now, I had to click on the Highlight option, thank you very much!
