  1. Check the “Admin interface style” settings for the site ; you should be able to switch to the default style as outlined in the support docs here:

If you need more help with that, do not hesitate to reach out to [WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) support about it here:

Folks on this subreddit are more familiar with the self-hosted version of WordPress, so it’s often best if you contact [WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) directly about WordPress.com-related questions. 🙂

Edit: I just saw your edit! If your site is not hosted on [WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) and you still see a [WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) admin bar when visiting your site’s dashboard (by adding `wp-admin` to your site’s URL), that may be because you use an old version of the Jetpack plugin, which used to include a feature called “WordPress.com toolbar”. You can either update the plugin to its latest version (which I would always strongly recommend), or deactivate the feature under Jetpack > Settings > Writing in your dashboard.
