Hi guys, super rookie here so please go easy. Quick rundown; Small business owner that has changed industries and introducing entirely new products to the market. I’m not selling from my website but using it as a classic home base (Product pics, our story, etc.). Would you guys recommend hiring someone to re-code/build the old one, or just shut it down and build a brand new one? This might be an insanely stupid question but thought I would ask, cheers!

Depends a lot of what “the old one” contains, and how it was built. If it’s super old, and not relevant for what you’re trying to sell, then rebuilding might be the way to go.
Pay an experienced web developer to build your site. Sites built by non-technical people tend to subpar, and negatively impact your business’s brand.
