I've been using underscores as a base WP theme and then building on top of it for a few years now. It's been great and I have my own version that I use as a starting point. Within the theme I use ACF to create new fields (and blocks nowadays) and adapt as needed. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for other solid base themes? It's been awhile so I figured it would be good to see if there are any other base themes I could investigate further. Thanks for the suggestions in advance!
To be honest, I still like Underscores even though it hasn’t been “updated” in a while. I think it’s still solid.
