Hi Folks, I’m launching a social service organization that’s going to be politically controversial and probably in the news. This will attract a lot of unwelcome attention and I’m concerned about our ability to keep our website afloat.
What should I be doing for security and protection?
I’m using site ground and have ssl. I’m figuring out how to do daily backups. Not storing more information than necessary in WordPress. What else do I need? What is cloudflare? I went to their website and wasn’t really clear about what they did or whether or not they’d be useful.
I’m not a total noob, this is my 3rd WordPress site for my own businesses/nonprofits, but I’m not a developer and having to figure what to do with a site that will be more likely to come under attack in various has dropped me into a sub-specialty of this community that I’m totally unfamiliar with.
