Hey everyone! I'm very new to WordPress, so any help or advice would be tremendous! I'm a digital marketing student at university, and I was asked to run social media and update the website of a local doctor's office. I have no problem with the social media portion, but while I accepted the job/internship thinking, "I've built two websites on Squarespace! How hard can WordPress be?" I very quickly found that it was an entirely different animal.
So for some more background information. This doctor at the local office already has a fully created website; he just wants me to edit it and improve the SEO a bit. He originally had somebody from Fiverr build it from scratch and is now asking me to log into his Godaddy account and edit the website that away, but I'm very lost and slightly afraid any edits I try to make will completely wreck his website since I have no idea where to even start. I'm also somewhat confused because it seems that the person from Fiverr possibly used a plugin called "WPBakery Page Builder"?? So when I try to look up tutorials on how to do stuff, many of my buttons and actions are either missing or in different spots because of the plugin.
The doctor I'm working for has been extremely chill about everything and even told me that it's fine if I get into WordPress and realize I'm not the right guy for the job! He said I could easily just run social media and pass the website off to somebody else. Still, I really think learning WordPress would be a super beneficial skill for my career in the future, so I want to learn and do it myself if possible.
So, what do you experts think? Is it worth the time and energy to make edits to my boss's website after he hired somebody from Fiverr to cobble it together? Or is it going to be more pain than it's worth? I appreciate any help, and I'll be happy to answer any questions people have.

If you learn WordPress skills then for sure it’s really beneficial for your career.
I’m curious to know what kind of changes your client expecting you to do because you can do most of things from WordPress admin.
**PS:** As a WordPress expert**,** for beginner Only advice I can give you don’t override any plugins/themes files directly because it’s going to bite you in the back when new update available for a plugins/themes.
Go learn from youtube. You are giving up an opportunity people would kill for. Learn, get the skills, master it, do it for others. Thats how you become financially free.
