I have now bought several plugins where I was hypnotized with the marketing of certain plugins, (which I needed for functionality) and then comes the
1)You have to turn off CLOUDFLARE Rocket
2) You cannot minify JavaScript
3) You cannot remove strings
4) No lazy loading because it interferes with our plugin
5) You cannot combine CSS files
6) You also cannot preload combined files
OH BY THE WAY. DID YOU KNOW WE ARE PARTNERS WITH CLOUDFLARE, BUT… we are sorry to tell you that our plugin sends bursts of requests and you will have to turn off the WAF or go find the rule in CLOUDFLARE out of thousands of Firewall rules available, that you need to exclude. Oh and there are a dozens of them but we won’t tell you which ones.
Also don’t even think about the CLOUDFLARE Pro plan because any caching it offers doesn’t work with our plugin.
So now the site loads in 9 seconds and nobody wants to visit because everyone has an attention span of a Cricket and God forbid the site takes longer than 1.5 seconds to load or we jump to the next Dopamine Fix
To be fair I have also bough other plugins that go out of their way to make caching work or telling you exactly what you need to do and how to write the exceptions.
THOUGHTS ?

If the plugin or plugins is/are have a negative impact to your site (other than performance) e.g. engagement, financial, you should consider the criticality of the plugin(s) to you site and whether there are alternative short term solutions e.g. turning them off or customizations that may help.
Longer term, you may need to looking into replacing the plugins. If you are open to sharing more details e.g. URL either in the post, comments or direct message, it’ll be easier to suggest ideas/recommendations.
Name the plugin.
