Hello all, I am looking to build a Service Marketplace for a specific niche. Similar to Styleseat, Fresha, Booksy. I am non-technical in terms of coding. I am very familiar and comfortable with wordpress.
I was looking into a couple of options to do this:
1. WordPress with Mylisting or Listingpro theme
2. Investing money into a developer to use what Styleseat and these websites use to develop their product, such as webflow airtable etc.
I just want to create a MVP to ensure my idea is doable and to gain traction. I just go back and forth thinking if I invest a lot of time into my MVP with wordpress and create a simple service marketplace / directory that I will regret it if the idea really takes off (I have a lot of faith it will, the niche is severely underserved and good KW metrics) that I have to start over in terms of a non – wordpress site.
TLDR: Should I build my MVP to create a service marketplace like Styleseat / Booksy for my niche with WordPress? If so , is there a specific route you recommend or theme? If not recommending wordpress- what would you recommend otherwise?
