Website Deletion

Hi, I had somebody make me a website, but they set themselves as the main admin and tried to extort money from me to keep the site active (£10 a month for simple photography website). After lots of abusive messages (i was living with the guy), he deleted the website. The website is in my name and had a copyright on every page, with my name on it. Is there any way of contacting wordpress to recover the site or is it lost forever?
