Hello everyone,
I write a Warhammer fanfiction wordpress blog and was working on a post earlier. Throughout the entire time I was writing the project, the top of the bar always said “autosaving” yet never seemed to complete an autosave. Hours have passed and the autosave seems to have still not completed. When I opened the post on my phone’s version of my wordpress blog, it indicated that nothing I wrote today has been saved. While it continues to say autosaving, I am unable to preview, publish or schedule the post as they are greyed out.

What can I do to ensure the post actually saves? Is there a way to force override a save?

Sounds like there’s a problem communicating with your server.
Load up Chrome DevTools (press F12) and check the Console tab – look for the red line(s) errors.
