I’m getting regular email updates from my WordPress.org site from “wordpress.” and my url. That works. Also if I click password reset on my site I get that email no problem.
Advanced Ads is unable to send me any updates. I installed an email check plugin and test email did not work. (Or at least I haven’t received it. I checked spam.)
I don’t understand how my site can send me password reset emails and plugin/theme updated emails from wordpress.mysitename.com but plugins apparently can’t send me email.
Where are the email settings for my site? How is any email being sent? I’m so confused. My goal is to figure out how to get these plugins to be able to sending me email but they say I should install an smtp plugin (which one?) but I’m scared doing that will screw up the email I am currently getting from the site.
Confused in Virginia!
