Woocommerce search

I have tried several variations of code found on the interwebs to get the standard WP search bar to find products. Either nothing happens, or I get errors in the php and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

I don’t need anything fancy, I just want it so when a word is search for the product(s) show up in a list. That’s it.

​

Oh, and if anyone has a decent way of forcing the footer to stay at the bottom of the page, that’d be great too.
