WP Updates shows there’s an update, but all the plugins have been updated

Does anybody know why this is happening? I even used a php function debug that helps identify the plugin that needs to be updates, but it comes back saying that they are all updated.

Any help is appreciated. I hate notifications:)

  1. Sometimes cached plugin data causes update notifications to persist, so clear your WordPress cache and browser cache to see if the notification disappears. Also, you can use database optimization plugin like **WP-Optimize** to clean and optimize your database, if there is any mismatch there. You could use this plugin, in a few occassions it helped me in some similar cases: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/)
